Heywood Model Railway Group Exhibition

Heywood Model Railway Group will be holding their annual exhibition on 21st and 22nd of March 2015 at Rochdale Town Hall. There will be twenty layouts on show with a demonstration by Brian Davis and these will be supported by a prescence of seven traders.
The exhibition is open 11:00 to 17:00 Saturday 10:00 to 16:00 Sunday.
Exhibition Entrance prices: Adults £4.00, Senior Citizens £3.00 Children £3.00 and Family(2+2) £11.00
Parking: At the time of writing there is free parking around the town hall all day Saturday and Sunday.
If the town hall car parks are full then there are further car parks to be found nearby by turning up Packer street at the left and rear of the main parking area.
Heywood Model Railway Group is located in a large building at Unit 3 Park Works, River Street Heywood. The layouts in our club room range from N gauge at 16 feet through to the O gauge which is over 40 feet long and there is always work going on maintaining or improving them. A new 0 gauge layout is proposed to be built and will occupy a space of 50ft by 25ft being a continuous run with 4 complete tracks all the way round. If your main interest is in 0 gauge then why not come along and get invoved in this new project?

Many of our members also have their own layouts at home and several of these layouts have attended exhibitions all over the country.
Meetings are held in our building on River Street Heywood during the following times. Monday evenings from 18:30 to 22:00 and Wednesday from 10:00 to about 14:00
